| SPOILER AHEAD!!! I guess we'll have to agree to disagree. I thought the London production was extraordinary--frightening and moving at the same time. Probably more frightening to me at this moment as an American who sees what happened in Germany then seems to be beginning to happen here now. So, where as the brilliant original production was a cautionary tale, this version is an warning. I think the reinterpretaton of the Emcee and a participant rather than a victim is brilliant. I was overwhelmed and cannot wait to see it next week in NY. |
