| Now that I thought about it a little more, Stereophonic has some similarities to a show I've read about but never seen, Say, Darling. It was a 1958 play with songs about the making of a musical. It received a Broadway cast album and has a very enjoyable (though unconventional) score by Jule Styne, Betty Comden, and Adolph Green. |
