IS THERE LIFE AFTER HIGH SCHOOL?, a musical with a glorious score by Craig Carnelia, was produced at the Barrymore in 1982 for 48 previews and 17 performances. It was a bona fide Broadway flop but during the past 40 years it has been performed in more than two thousand regional and high school productions as well as at Ford's Theatre in Washington, D.C., and the Donmar Warehouse in London. Is there life after Broadway? Yes, occasionally there is.
