| COLT COEUR EXTENDS THE NEW YORK PREMIERE OF STILL WRITTEN BY LIA ROMEO DIRECTED BY ADRIENNE CAMPBELL-HOLT STARRING JAYNE ATKINSON & TIM DALY NEW PLAY ABOUT LOST LOVE REVISITED EXTENDS TO MAY 23 AT DR2 THEATRE (April 25, 2024 – New York, NY) Colt Coeur (Adrienne Campbell-Holt, Founding Artistic Director; Heather Cohn, Executive Producer) announced today that the New York premiere of STILL by Lia Romeo, the new Off-Broadway play that The New York Times called “juicy and smart,” has been extended to May 23, 2024 at DR2 Theatre (103 East 15th Street). Directed by Adrienne Campbell-Holt (Lucille Lortel Visionary Director Award), Jayne Atkinson and Tim Daly reprise their roles as Helen and Mark following a successful run at the Dorset Theatre Festival in 2023. This 75-minute, roller coaster ride of a play is for anyone who’s ever wondered “what if?” “Atkinson and Daly, delivering a master class in chamber-style acting, are so natural and appealing that you can’t help rooting for their characters to overcome their differences, while Adrienne Campbell-Holt’s smartly, unobtrusive direction lets them and the material shine. In their expert hands, Still emerges as an unexpected gem.”--New York Theater Review “Romeo’s script teems with intrique…Adrienne Campbell-Holt directs Daly and Atkinson in these sensitive fleshy performances—the secret sauce that keeps us coming back to Colt Coeur.”--Theatermania Thirty years ago, Helen and Mark broke up, but they never completely forgot about each other. When they meet for dinner to catch up, the flame is rekindled... but Mark is running for Congress, and Helen has a secret that could derail his bid. Lost love is revisited and an avocado goes flying in Lia Romeo's whirlwind New York premiere comedy about getting older, political divisions, and roads not taken. STILL features scenic design by Alexander Woodward; costume design by Barbara A. Bell; lighting design by Reza Behjat; sound design by Hidenori Nakajo; and production stage manager Caren Celine Morris. Standbys are Kate Goehring and Tom Galantich. STILL began previews on April 13 and will now run to May 23, 2024 at DR2 Theatre (103 East 15th Street), just off Union Square. The regular performance schedule is Tuesdays-Fridays at 7pm, Saturdays at 8pm, and Wednesday matinees at 1pm. For the extension, the performance schedule is Mon 5/20 at 2pm and 7pm, Tues 5/21 at 7pm, Wed 5/22 at 2pm and 7pm and Thur 5/23 at 7pm. Running time is 75 minutes, no intermission. Tickets begin at $54 and are on sale now at www.telecharge.com and 212-239-6200. Ten $10 tickets will be available for each performance in April while supplies last. Student and Artist Tickets available for $25 in-person at the box office only with valid ID. STILL is being produced by Special Arrangement with Daryl Roth Productions. # # # BIOS LIA ROMEO (Playwright) is a recent graduate of the Juilliard playwriting program. Her plays have been developed at the O’Neill, La Jolla Playhouse, the Lark, and elsewhere, and have been produced in NYC as well as regionally at venues such as Dorset Theatre Festival, Laguna Playhouse, Unicorn Theatre, New Jersey Repertory Theatre, and others. Four of her plays have been recognized by the Kilroys List. Her plays are published by TRW, Broadway Licensing, and Broadway Play Publishing. She is the associate artistic director with Project Y Theatre Company and the co-founder of the Parent-Caregiver Playwrights Group, and is a Colt Coeur resident artist. She teaches playwriting at Primary Stages/ESPA and in the M.A. program in creative writing at Fairleigh Dickinson University. ADRIENNE CAMPBELL-HOLT (Director) is a NYC-based director and choreographer, the Founding Artistic Director of Colt Coeur and a recipient of the Lucille Lortel Visionary Director Award. A graduate of Northwestern University and Yale Drama School, she has appeared in regional theatre, off-Broadway, and Broadway. Jayne made her Broadway debut in the first revival production of Arthur Miller's All My Sons. Other Broadway credits include The Rainmaker (Tony nomination), Our Town with Paul Newman, Enchanted April (Tony nomination, Drama Desk nomination; Outer Critics Circle Award) and Blithe Spirit with the wonderful Angela Lansbury . She has also appeared off-Broadway in a number of productions, including The Art of Success (Drama Desk nomination) and the American Premier of The Skriker at the Public Theater, (Drama Desk nomination). Jayne’s feature film credits include Free Willy 1&2, The Village, Syriana and most recently Baby Ruby with Kit Harington and Naomi Merlant, written and directed by Bess Wohl. On television she has recurred on the mega hit series “24,” “Criminal Minds,” and “House of Cards”. In 2019 Jayne was a Series Regular on the NBC series “Bluff City Law” and recurred on the CBS drama “Clarice.” She can currently be seen co-starring on the Hulu Series Death and Other Details opposite Mandy Patinkin.
