The only semi-surprise to me is that Ricky Ubeda wasn't bumped up to Leading Actor in a Musical for ''Illinoise.''
But we don't know if ''Illinoise'' petitioned for it, or whether they did, and the Tonys turned down the request.
Bumping Ubeda to Leading might've opened up a Featured slot for his ''Illinoise'' co-star Ben Cook, but who knows? |
