It's a riot ''SNL'' would spoof a showtune from ''Follies,'' a 1971 Broadway musical that I doubt, say, 97% of the ''SNL'' audience would even know. Nor would they get the reference to Busby Berkeley, but they still laughed at the goofiness. (This YouTube video has racked up over 660,000 views!) Sondheim praised Jake's work in ''Sunday in the Park With George,'' so I bet he would've gotten a kick out of Jake's comic commitment to this parody.
