I don't see Radcliffe looking terrified at all. But hey, we all see different things in art, lol. What I *hear* is a very labored first refrain from Groff, whereas it seems to become a more "hummable" straightforward song in the voices of the other two. Groff does this a lot in general (compare his very glottaled/non-legato "let you go your own way" at 2:33, complete with bouncing ball head following the pitches [ugh], to Radcliffe just naturally singing his response, legato, with no pretention. Radcliffe here is the one at ease, Groff is pushing.)

Just a geeky musical side note - for me, the xylophone (doubling the trumpets, at 2:45 in the video) makes all the difference. This was in the original, but there's no xylo at all in the 1994 revisal of the show (which is still the standard rental version). For me, it was always such an iconic timbre that I put it back in (on synth) when I did the show in 2015. But I'm thrilled to see that Tunick clearly also "liked it the way that it was" and put it back for this production.
