My critique wasn't of this production, it was of the reductive nature of the Globe's statement. If they had chosen to acknowledge complexity and interpretation, it would be a much more interesting and useful examination of identity on stage and in society.
I get that your vibe is to play gotcha and lead with snark, but I've always had the sense that you're smarter than the character you play on this site.
