I totally see your point, Wayman, but unfortunately have no insight to offer to answer your question.
As for the male trio in the current revival, I felt their style was more reminiscent of a barbershop quartet (minus the fourth singer in the quartet) than a “campy” Andrews Sisters. But now we’re going further back into history and reaching back into The Music Man territory! |
