I think there are just very few people here who saw Merman. Someone else who saw her used to post here, but hasn't been around in a while. I still see him on Facebook. He had very strong memories of her being extraordinary and completely present and committed, even though, IIRC, he said he saw her at a matinee in August with a far from full house. And, of course, some of the folks involved said that she soon began walking through performances. But this former regular here said she didn't that afternoon, and given the far from full house, it might have been understandable if she had. Klugman, btw, said he never saw her walk through it.
