| Breads Bakery is my go-to spot. Best food in the area if you don’t want to pay a lot of money to sit down and drink wine. When the weather is good you can sit at the tables outside. Other than that I would advise planning extra time for more options in Hells Kitchen or the Upper West Side. The business model for restaurants in LC is tough; they need a lot of staff in small windows before and after shows and the rent is of course astronomical. It’s why the area has always been tough for restauranteurs and restaurant goers. |
