| The reverse can be true, too. Mrs. Doubtfire seems to be doing well over there. And Fame ran for years there while it never even made it to Broadway here. Dirty Dancing and Flashdance, too (these three are, of course, all of a piece). And there are Broadway hits that certainly have struggled there. Edwin Drood comes to mind-- a Tony winner here and a very fast flop over there. | |
