Replacement leads are allegedly under contract. The show also drops to five performances a week after Redmayne exits. That schedule alone should be able to attract some talent for the marquee and box office.
Loved this in London by the way. I thought Jessie Buckley delivered the most electric performance I have ever seem on stage in thirty plus years of theatre going. She was a supernova on that stage, so I am oddly pleased she did not transfer. |
