Yeah. I think I’d be surprised…

…because it won’t win.
Not only that, I’ll be surprised if it’s nominated.
(Right now on Gold Derby.com, in their prediction odds for Best Musical nominations, this show comes in 14th place, ahead of only the Britney Spears musical.)

If they give it to a show with a pre-existing score, it will surely be Hell’s Kitchen or Illinoise (in 3rd and 4th place at the moment).
Suffs and Here Lies Love are currently in the lead and I don’t expect that to last (the site has odds on The Outsiders rising, with Days of Wine and LPo Roses and The Notebook just behind, while Here Lies Love and Suffs are trending downward.)
But Heart is ranked below everything else, including Harmony, Water for Elephants, Lempicka, Gatsby, and How to Dance in Ohio.

But look no further than the Times reviews, both by the same critic:
About Hell’s Kitchen yesterday she wrote, “ thrilling from beginning to end”, “one of the rare occasions must-sees this season”, and about Heart of Rock and Roll tonight she wrote, “has many winning moments”.
Which one would most people put smart money on??
