I am a fan of Radcilffe's stage work but I don't that he CAN sing Stine. I mean maybe somehow get all the notes out. But it's a bigger sing that Stone. Didn't Gregg Edelman--who has a more robust voice than Radcliffe--have some trouble in the original run? Anyway, maybe that is what you mean by questioning if the production would do justice to the score. I have said this before, but I am tired of voice type being ignored. It's a real thing. And it's not about acting. My usual tirade about this involves Hugh Jackman in Les Miz. Yes he can hit the notes, but his nasally character voice is all wrong for the music of Jean Valjean. Overall the singing in that film is actually incredibly un-musical, but that's another story for another time. Radcilffe in Merrily === perfection!
