For both Best Actress and Best Featured Actress ...

unless her performance in Cabaret is so remarkably far beyond what Kecia Lewis

I'm usually one for standing by that regardless, the best performance should win, that is so subjective on its own. And when an actor is as celebrated as Bebe is and has won twice, and in both categories, I quickly switch into "share the wealth" and "give someone else a chance" mode. Her career will not be helped by a 3rd win, in Featured... but Kecia's will, and it will be a huge recognition for a long and committed career of excellence on Broadway and off.

I don't see Shoshana winning over Kecia, and I think Amber Iman's chances are diluted notably I think by the reception of Lempicka, but with strong reviews for Hell's Kitchen and especially for Kecia, I think it's hers to lose and I'd much rather see her win it for a great performance than Bebe no matter how good Bebe is in this scathingly-reviewed Cabaret.

(and for Mendez, I think the fact that she has a Tony win recently and has missed 1/4 of the Merrily run is reason to happily root for someone else to win. I've also heard raves and lukewarm reviews of Mendez as Mary, but I personally have yet to be able to afford a ticket to see it or win the Today Tix lotto).
