| There’s a grab bag of things they can be pulled on, but generally speaking, I’d say advancing social progress to elevate the lived experiences of women, people of color, and queer folks to that of the white straight men who have typically dominated our stages and culture. The idea that it relates to propaganda is high-sterical because on some level all theater is propaganda, and on another, Some Like It Hot was a joyous confectionery of a good time, and I somehow missed the propaganda at the heart of it. |
