| Nanette Fabray made her Broadway debut in 1940 in Meet the People as Nanette Fabares. In 1941, she was Nanette Fabray in Let's Face It, and as far as I know she never temporarily switched back. I've never heard the story you tell. If that did happen, it would have happened on radio, not television. |
