I don't see Robbie Fairchild's name on the release. (Someone tell me if I'm missing it.) I really loved watching him dance in ILLINOISE. He's such a big guy and it seemed to me that since AN AMERICAN IN PARIS he's bulked up a little bit and I love watching dancers who aren't lithe and sylphlike. (Not unlike his dance ancestor Gene Kelly.) He's so handsome and radiates optimism and positive vibes, especially in the Superman number.

Also noticed the vocalists are TBD. Those singers were brilliant and if they are not staying with it, I hope they are able to find suitably hypnotic replacements.

I'm glad it's getting a Broadway run and hopefully it will do well at the Tonys. Of the new musicals this year I've seen DAYS OF WINE AND ROSES, HARMONY, WATER FOR ELEPHANTS and now ILLINOISE and I'd definitely vote for ILLINOISE were I a voter.
