I'm surprised that The Public is bringing in two musicals that started there and will compete for Best Musical.
I think Hamilton could have transferred earlier, but would have then competed with Fun Home for best musical. (I think they were also holding out for the Richard Rodgers. If my memory is correct, If/Then was limping along at the box office at the time).
Edit: I checked ibdb and The Public isn't listed as a producer of Suffs, so I guess that answers that question
