Julie Andrews is a world class entertainer. She has awards aplenty for her film work, TV specials, and recordings, which made up the main focus of her professional career. Her Broadway performances were memorable but more of a footnote. What is most important to her now is being a devoted mother and grandmother to her children and grandchildren.
She's a very classy lady. I don't think she would approve of a well meaning fan campaigning for her to receive an award which would be irrelevant to those aspects of her life which are most dear to her now.
