| My complete vocal score, which was copyrighted in 1957 and 1959, does not have the overture. The first music cue is "Prologue." That doesn't necessarily mean an overture wasn't added later, but it does indicate that one wasn't intended. I don't know if any later published scores included an overture or if it was included as an "optional extra" in later scores that were were rented out for later productions. |
