I wish you could have seen Rachel as well and who knows....she may be the alternate Norma on Broadway as well.
Whereas Nicole's take that Norma was simply delusional/imperious/batsh*t crazy, Rachel's Norma was more of a very damaged and lost soul who lost her way and would never find her way back to total sanity. Kind of like the aftermath of an addict who is learning to accept they will never get back what they once had.
Both were astonishing to watch. |
