It's so awful. I meat him once after Why Torture is Wrong and we had a fun discussion on Preston Sturges, whom he references in the play. He couldn't've been nicer.

And I must have run into you at Westside Arts. I remember seeing it on a Saturday in 1983, and discussing the Baltimore catechism with friends at Rudy's afterward. (Twelve years of Catholic schooling finally came into play for me.)

And I am right with you on Bette and Boo, which I saw in a little theater on Madison and 33rd and later at the Pels. I read it every year to refresh my brain.
