I was stunned at how lame it was! The photos of the show have Tamara in flowing black locks but on stage she's Matron "Mama" Morton's twin! One scene in 2nd Act was over and they didn't to take away the set! That car was brought out a 2nd time for no reason! Beth Leavel is given so little to do! Read Tamara Lempicka's Wikipedia page! Odd how everyone knew in 1933 Hitler was gonna be trouble!
PS: I saw the play "Tamara" staged at the Armory many moons ago! |
