I dunno. I think the case I'm making for how illogical it is for it to be allowed to be put in at all at this point and for this production quite outweighs the strength of the logic that because Chapin is playing Weissman then it must have been approved.
Chapin actually, while being in charge of the R&H works, allowed some pretty wild things to be done to their works... so i'm not sure his history as the keeper of the keys indicates that he wouldn't have been ok with letting them try it it in this short run production very far from NYC or even LA.
But as i keep saying, none of us know. |
