| I'm almost always surprised by how good most film actors are when they only do an occasional play. Daniel Radcliffe as Alan Strang in EQUUS (a role that has challenges for any actor let alone a teenager with zero stage chops and massive fame) was one example. The only major disappointment that comes to mind is Julianne Moore in THE VERTICAL HOUR and that may have been partly because I have such admiration for her film work that disappointment was inevitable. She kind of disappeared in that play. |
