I would disagree.

The revised SUNSET BLVD is a knockout and will likely be just as hot a hit on Bway as it was here in London.

TAMMY FAYE has a lot of potential - and the fact that the creatives took a mostly well-received musical back into the lab for further improvements is a good sign....and Katie Brayben is a name you'll certainly remember this time next year.

SMASH looks set to open next season as does BOOP! and both have great potential to be "knockouts".

This doesn't include a handful of shows in development/scheduling out of town tryouts that might also go on the be "knockouts" including "DEATH BECOMES HER, THE QUEEN OF VERSAILLES and MIDNIGHT IN THE GARDEN OF GOOD AND EVIL.

I will add that while nothing might be considered a "knockout" this season, the fact that this many new musicals are running consecutively and doing more than ok at the box office (at least for now) along the megahits is very good news.
