| Looks like what I would imagine it would look like. The interior of the auditorium looks fine, the other spaces look squeezed of square footage to the point of claustrophobia. The lobby, the escalator entrance that I presume carries you up to the auditorium from the street feels like the Q Line, and the lobby and bathroom design are hideous, joyless corporate hotel design from ten years ago with an ugly nod to art deco glamour. It almost reminds me of the late lamented Ziegfield movie theater with its 1960's thrifty-mod take on deco but nowhere near as silly, fun, grand and airy. |
