| OT for this particular production, but probably the best Yelena I've seen was Laura Linney (in the otherwise-dull Jacobi/Rees production), who brought a fascinating vulgarity to her; that all the qualities everyone else was seeing in her were imposed on a woman who had none of them. It was brilliant. |
