I don’t think that pays a lot. Some big shows only paid $5k for guest star appearance. I think SAG contract is around $7k now. It’s only one week of work, but hardly enough to live on and it would take a dozen episodes to really make a difference and that doesn’t happen. And some regulars are getting $1m an episode when the guest star gets $5k. On big bang theory, there were articles that will Wheaton for $20k for his appearances. Not a lot compared to the regulars, but a few episodes a season would pay the bills.

Sometimes I see an actor doing 1 show a year and I wonder if that to qualify for insurance or other benefits more than a salary.
