To me, it seemed more like Bobbie was in a dream world where things feel familiar but a little off and she never knew what was going to happen when she went through the next door.

I guess I can buy that. That might also explain the really really bizarre "Alice In Wonderland" moment in Act II (after she discovers, heavy-handed horror film style, that Susan is pregnant).

Also odd with the bedroom scene - usually Bobby is the one to lead April to the bedroom/bed. In this instance, Andy just marched right in, making the moment when Bobbie mentions the bed really strange.

I also missed the champagne/baby oil reveal, which is a fun punctuation on the whole story. Not crucial I suppose, but I did miss it. (Also, whenever we work on the Barcelona scene in our collegiate Sondheim class, I mention that a champagne hangover might be part of the given circumstances as both characters deal with the awkwardness of waking up together.)
