If they're going with renaming the character to Andy, I always thought that Bobbie's wrong guess should have been Amos. I think that would especially land with an African-American actress playing Bobbie, as is the case on the tour.

Sure, it's a pretty specific and dated cultural reference, but one that, I think, still resonates a bit and, even if a lot of people have never heard of AMOS AND ANDY, it's a joke that, at least, means something, unlike Randy/Andy, which is just a rhyme and could be a honest misheard mistake, rather than a complete forgetting of the name with Bobbie racking her brain for a few seconds to try her best. So you'd still be getting the same effect as Randy/Andy, but the reference would hit deeper for those who know the context.
