| I saw it in LA right before it went to NYC. One of the worst directed and designed production I've seen in a long time, and the new arrangements of the songs are all worse, sometimes rending them not even sounding like the same tune. There were some highlights, and fun to be had, and the cast is extremely talented... but man, what a disappointing production of a show I love (and have loved in various iterations). |
