Since when (with the obvious exception of Avenue X and Octet, which are entirely a cappella) does "score" NOT include the orchestra part? Is singing an entire musical with predominantly prerecorded tracks really what we call a "score"? Is a score just "songs" or does it include more than just what is sung? (Are there really any shows out there that don't have incidental music, dance music without vocals, etc?)
More importantly, what does this say for the future? |
