| I saw the tour of the Wiz last night (Dorothy understudy Mariah Lyttle performed). I haven't seen the musical in 30 plus years. I'm curious why Toto was not in the Wiz even though the dog is in the book (I learned that silver slippers is in the book and not ruby from movie). the program has 44 co-producers listed plus a few producers. I guess this production cost in the $15m range. |
