Harry Belafonte's daughters, Shari and Gina, say the Grammys should've done more to salute their dad: legendary singer, actor and civil rights activist.

Shari and Gina felt Belafonte deserved a special tribute at the Grammys, like the ones for Tony Bennett and Tina Turner, and ''not just because ... he was our father.'' On Facebook, Shari points out: ''Harry Belafonte was the very FIRST recipient of a platinum record. Was the very FIRST Black man to get an Emmy. Is one of 20 people to have an EGOT. Harry is THE one who created WeAreTheWorld.'' [Belafonte won his 1954 Tony for ''John Murray Anderson's Almanac.'']

Shari added one more comment (that seems certain to be debated and won't endear her to Tony and Tina's fans): ''While no doubt, Tony Bennett and Tina Turner were special indeed, Harry contributed far more to society and the music industry than those two put together, in my humble opinion.''
