| I don't believe for a second you're taking "a punch in the face" literally. You seem like you're at a high enough reading comprehension to understand hyperbole. I think we all acknowledge that there are a lot of factors at play in contemporary theater that make an 8 show week difficult. But I also think we can acknowledge that some performers just don't prioritize the work in the same way that generations before them did. If they are missing to the point where, as you say, "they are not fulfilling the terms of their employment" that seems like a good "measure to judge an actor." |
