| I think I've heard that it was at a benefit concert, perhaps at Madison Square Garden. I'm not sure if it was broadcast. But it's something I certainly remember hearing, as it's too funny a story (and was probably quite embarrassing to Ms. Fabray) to forget. Of course, her niece Shelley Fabares kept her name, becoming famous for her tv role on the "Donna Reed Show" and for her big '60s hit "Johnny Angel" and later appearances on sitcoms like "Coach". |
