That's great that you have luck with TDF. I had to stop using it for Broadway shows once my fear of heights emerged. The last Broadway show I used it for was Boeing-Boeing. I still used TDF often for smaller venues.

I think the most I ever paid for a ticket was for Bette in Hello Dolly. $225 or so for a really good ORCH seat on the aisle. I snapped that up right as tickets went on sale. Seems those prices shot up after that. That was the last show I saw before I moved to Chicago. Quite a send off!

When I was a subscriber for Encores I had seats in the Grand Tier which I loved. I think I secured those the first or second season of Encores. I'm remembering Tyne Daly in Call Me Madam and so many other gems of those early seasons. I subscribed for about a decade.

Prices are lower in Chicago so I can usually sit where I want. Since we are a popular try out city I feel fortunate to be able to see as much as I do.
