| The role made Grey a big Broadway star and he was billed above the title in his next show "George M". I think it was noted that his billing changed for the original "Cabaret" for the better, probably after his Tony win as well. Of course, for the revival he did, he was solely billed above the title as well. I think that production had him singing "I Don't Care Much" -- not sure if that made it into the original production. But his role was always very showy, and he clearly made it star-worthy. |
