| A couple of thoughts. First, by saying you are surprised that the WOM is not generating demand, implicitly you are acknowledging that the WOM is likely not consistent with your sample. Second, there are no rules. It is not necessarily true that all musicals sell tickets based on WOM; it is also not necessarily true that plays don't (without regard to the presentence of a star). |
