| I also saw Diana Sands do it in syracuse. Leon Bibb was here leading man. I don't remember who the white leading man was and I want to say that Rosetta LeNoire played Momma. I loved the show and Ms Sands who was very sweet and thrilled to be doing the show. She celebrated her birthday onstage in Syracuse (I heard she had also celebrated it onstage in a different town the week before) I gave her roses, got a piece of cake and a kiss from Ms Sands. I was so upset when she passed not long after but so glad she got to do this (she wanted to do a musical) and that I got to see her a few times. |
