Is the production promoting Locke at all? All the advertisement I've seen is strictly Tveit and Foster. I don't remember a lot of promotion of Gatan Mattarazzo in the role either. There was some noise around Locke in the LGBT press when he first joined the show, prior to the arrival of Tveit and Foster, but I've seen and heard nothing since.
I'm not sure that the casual theatregoer, HEARTSTOPPER watcher or not, would even know that Locke was in the show.
It's interesting that both Mattarazzo and Locke came to this production after big breaks in hit Netflix series. I guess the big difference is that Mattarazzo is one member of an ensemble cast and Locke is one of the two leads of his show. |
