I saw Suffs at the Public. I hear it has been rewritten but at the Public I found it poorly directed and unexciting for such an important story. Maybe the new version will be better. Phillipa Soo gave the best performance and she’s not in it.

I thought the music for Hell’s Kitchen was great but the book was so predictable. If you like Alicia Keys’ songs you should go.

I am seeing Water for Elephants for the French-Canadian acrobatic group involved. The cast appeals to me.

The Notebook is selling tickets. I hear the score and the cast are good and it has an emotional effect on audiences.

I want to see The Heart of Rock and Roll for Corey Cott whom I hope finally gets a Tony nomination.

I liked The Great Gatsby at Paper Mill. Jeremy Jordan and Eva Noblezada are outstanding. I think this show has a chance to do well but the Broadway Theatre is so big.

I don’t have any feeling about Lempicka or The Outsiders. The Lempicka video has Espinosa belting which doesn’t appeal to me.
