| From what I have heard, the GMs have finally tried to do something about the persistent problems experienced with "the clubs." They are trying to develop different paths, largely to change the demographics (show-score was able to accomplish this some because its model was different) and also (partly relatedly) because of the problems that have been persistent with the clubs' members. The question is whether the current/new paths are able to deliver the audiences when push comes to shove. And I suspect we will have an answer to that once all of these shows start performances in the upcoming insane spring. Either way, I have a feeling that someone (maybe one of the existing players) will try to replicate what show score was doing. Business can't be booming for them right now. Also, on the other side, there are probably shows that have been hurt because they could not get enough paper in their seats. It's a crazy moment. |
