| She might have made a very interesting Mrs. Lovett, but I doubt it will still happen. Hard as it is to believe, she is 73, which might make her the oldest Mrs. Lovett in any professional production if she were do it somewhere. The oldest ones I know of are June Havoc, who was 69 and turned 70 during of the second national tour, and Jean Stapleton, who was 66 when she played it in San Jose. But if Ms. Greene is up for it, she could probably still do it, if only someone would offer her the chance. She certainly seemed in good shape in Little Shop at Encores! Off-Center. |
