Just to make everyone crazy, Richard Burton's Hamlet was recorded LIVE on Electrovision over three performances and then first shown in movie theatres. Doesn't fit the original requirements of this thread, it is a record of a live performance of a pretty famous theatre event.

I think the TV "live" versions of The Great Sebastians and Magnificent Yankee provides the only records that I can think of a full Lunt/Fontaine vehicle other than the movie version of The Guardsman in the early '30s. The kiss in the Great Sebastians is a great coup de theatre.
