| My favorite worst-case version of this story happened on a show with which I was involved many years ago. The GM's office sent the company and/or agents copies of their last playbill bios with a cover note saying edit it and get it to us by x date or we will use what we have. Because not everyone does what they should, one actor never responded and his bio went in as it was. Included in that bio was the line "All my love to my wife, XYZ." In the interim, they had gone through a particularly unpleasant divorce. :-) |
