It was refreshing to see theater expressed in a different way than most of us are used to. The dancing was stunning and expressed a story of youth--the adventures, the loves, the heartache, the fragility. I got emotional remembering similar moments in my life. The singers and other musicians, however, stole the show for me--WOW!
Should this move to Bway? It would have a very specific audience, like Passing Strange, but it would be welcome addition to the load of tourist crap on Bway now. |
